Current Clinical Trials

Currently we are conducting the following Clinical Trial(s):

  1. Idiopathic Hypersomnia Clinical Trial: Patients ages 18-75, with Idiopathic Hypersomnia. This study is looking at the effect of a new medicine on sleepiness in patients with Idiopathic Hypersomnia who have access to their previous test results confirming Idiopathic Hypersomnia. If they also have sleep apnea, it must be adequately treated. The study lasts about 40 weeks, with 13 office visits and one overnight stay. Subjects get active medicine throughout the study except for a two-week period during which they may get active medicine or placebo. We pay about $2000 for the subject’s time and expenses upon completing the study.
  2. Narcolepsy Clinical Trial: Patients ages 18-50, with Narcolepsy. This study is looking at the effect of a new medicine on sleepiness in patients with Narcolepsy who have access to their previous test results confirming Narcolepsy. The study lasts about 5 weeks, with three sleep testing stays (overnight and the next day) with us. Patients may get active medicine or placebo. We pay $930 for the subject’s time and expenses upon completing the study.

  3. Clinical trials come and go, and they fill up fast.
